@brooke: i don´t know how to make awesome ones, mine turned out to be pretty stiff, because i put 3 layers of jeansfabric inside...but they do their job, too :) i looked up some tutorials on the web and there they use fleece as stuffing...if you can crotchet it should also be no problem to make one...hmmm, maybe i crotchet one and put a tutorial on my blog :)?
Hmmm, my grandmom used to put a layer of thick terrycloth: like a square cut from an old towel. And that worked well. Or maybe you could use an old flannel sheet? I'm going to try to make one soon. :) A crochete one would be pretty too.
